Forest Roar is nestled back in the woods overlooking a seasonal riverbed. There is a winding trail that takes you through the woods and across the cobbled stoned river bed , to the resort surrounded by nature. Be sure to arrive during the daylight hours to witness the natural beauty of the surroundings radiating a welcome for the travelers. The surrounding forests are teeming with wildlife and to a keen nature lover there are numerous signs and sounds that reiterate the presence of wildlife.
Sriroopa is a hands on host and ensures that your stay is comfortable. The staff too is attentive, and polite and the kitchen serves up homely appetizing meals.
The resort itself is snug and inviting with comfortable rooms and all amenities. Winter evenings are best spent relaxing in front of a crackling fire, and occassional cheetal alarm calls.
With a wealth of Corbett experience, Sriroopa is finally in her elements offering a superb hospitality experience in her favourite forest. An eye for detail, lovely food and a decent accomodation - that's all what is needed by wildlife photographers and she has blended everything in one roof in the form of Srina Forest Roar. Wishing her all the best!
An amazing experience, warm hospitality, and delicious food. The property has a warm vibe, ideal for a weekend getaway to Jim corbett. Special thanks to the owner and the staff who went all out of the way to ensure we had a great stay.
Good luck
The resort is very good with nice ambience. The food was excellent. Service was very good. River view is nice. We were very happy with our stay.
Our stay here was very short but was enough to make us visit again. The staff was very supportive, cooperative and caring, taking into account of smallest of our requirements. The rooms are clean, the food was great and the location is just amazing!
Had a wonderful experience staying in Forest Roar. Very friendly and cooperative staff. The food is awesome. Service is very good. Ambience is also excellent. All in all made our stay and trip to Corbett a success.
In January 2022 I had the pleasant opportunity to stay at a quaint boutique hotel called “Srina Forest Roar”. Located just outside Ramnagar town on the Sitabani road, this was an ideal place to stay when in Corbett.
This location suited me as it avoids going through Ramnagar town and is convenient when you land in Bareilly and are driving to Corbett national park.
On reaching Forest Roars the check-in process was quick and efficient and we were shown to our rooms which had a warm heater. The bathrooms were clean and it had a Jacuzzi too ( I will surely try it out the next time). The beds were nice and comfortable.
There was a fire pit on the lawns ideal for the chilly winters. The food was absolutely delicious. The Kababs and chilli chicken were properly marinated and cooked.
South Indians love Punjabi food and so it came as no surprise that I had requested my favourite Naan and Butter chicken for dinner. Over the years I have had this dish at countless locations around the world and I ain’t kidding when I say that the butter naan at Forest roars is right up there. The cook Ravi needs to be wrapped in a ball of cotton wool with a Z plus security as he could be poached :).
Breakfast was sumptuous with fresh strawberries with eggs and toast.
It was time to leave for Dhikala and as we were waiting, we heard a strong alarm call coming from across the road. Well, couldn't have hoped for a better start.
I would without any hesitation recommend Forest roars for its hospitality, clean and comfortable rooms and great food.
Is there anything else one needs?
